Damn, was hungover all day and so watched "Lost" on DVD instead of working. Will this script never get to the burning bin that awaits it? Like a slightly paraphrased Littlest Hobo I can only say "Maybe tomorrow I'll learn to finish my script, until tomorrow I'll watch DVDs and lose at online poker." That's what the Littlest Hobo was really thinking. What do you mean you don't remember the Littlest Hobo? How come I am so bad at remembering things from the 1970s that people think they've forgotten but haven't forgotten? How come I always choose things that most people actually have forgotten? It is a much harder discipline than it appears.
Lost is good. I will be disappointed if it turns out that they are all actually dead and in some Heavenly waiting room about to be judged for the deaths of others that they have all been involved in (or so it seems). I wonder who the polar bear killed. I am guessing it will be a TV show like Twin Peaks, that to begin with is incredibly addictive and fascinating, but that in the end leaves its audience disappointed. But I've seen the first 8 episodes now and with a very few caveats am enjoying it. I hope they get rescued in episode 9. It must be horrible being plane-wrecked on an enchanted island.
In a way watching other TV series can be seen as research for me writing my own one, so now I don't feel so bad for wasting another day. And the poker was research for my book. So, yeah I got a lot done. I am skill.
